The Client

Education Innovators Consulting is a psychological testing and educational consultation practice founded by Ashley Schwenn, a Licensed Educational Psychologist and Diplomate of the American Board of School Neuropsychology.

Ashley brings 15+ years of work across six school districts in Georgia, Ohio and California, plus adjunct teaching at the University of Dayton and Loyola Marymount University. She specializes in neurodiverse children with complex educational needs, and she is the mother of two neurodiverse children herself.

The practice serves four distinct audiences, each with its own reason to visit:

  • Parents seeking evaluations, IEE support and IEP advocacy
  • Teachers seeking professional development
  • School districts seeking systems-level consultation
  • Referral partners such as attorneys, advocates, therapists and pediatric psychiatrists

The Challenge

The practice needed a brand-new web presence built from scratch: a new look and feel, a new domain, and a site that could speak to anxious parents and district administrators in the same visit.

The brief set clear guardrails:

  • Work within a mobile-friendly WordPress template, kept to 12 pages maximum
  • Organize four service lines so each audience finds its path quickly
  • Showcase credentials and documents (CV, capability statement) without cluttering the navigation
  • Make it easy to book a consultation, subscribe and get in touch, with spam protection on every form
  • Meet ADA accessibility expectations under the 2018 DOJ guidance, important for a practice serving families with disabilities and public school districts
  • Move hosting to a new provider and set up analytics and SEO from day one

Our Approach

We organized the site around who is visiting, not around the practice’s internal service list, so each audience lands on a page written for them.

  1. Brand and look and feel. We built a warm, professional visual identity around the new Education Innovators Consulting logo, pairing calm gradients with simple icons (brain, puzzle pieces, light bulb, school) for each service line.
  2. Template selection. We chose a mobile-responsive WordPress template with Slider Revolution, giving the client a rotating home-page showcase she can update herself.
  3. Audience-first navigation. The proposed four “Services” became four top-level menu items: Evaluation, Parents, Teachers and Schools. Visitors self-select in one click.
  4. Content structure. Each service page follows the brief’s pattern: a photo, a main text paragraph and a short list of relevant keywords that reinforce SEO.
  5. Conversion paths. A free 15-minute consultation offer sits under every service on the home-page slider, with “Let’s Talk” and “Make an Appointment” buttons repeated in the header and footer.
  6. Launch. Hosting transfer, analytics, CAPTCHA, social profiles and accessibility features were configured before go-live.

Technical Foundation

Behind the design, we set the practice up to be found, measured, protected and accessible from launch day.

  • Accessibility. For a practice serving children with disabilities and public school districts, ADA compliance is a credibility issue, not a checkbox. Skip links, an accessible menu and readable layouts support keyboard and screen-reader users.
  • Security. CAPTCHA protection on every form keeps spam out of the client’s inbox and protects inquiry data.
  • Measurement. Google Analytics gives the client a baseline for traffic, top pages and consultation requests.
  • Search. The SEO keyword template targets the terms families and districts use, such as psychoeducational evaluation, neuropsychological evaluation, IEE and IEP advocacy.
  • Ownership. The new hosting setup and WordPress back end let the client update news, testimonials and slides without a developer.

Results

Education Innovators Consulting launched with a complete, professional web presence that matches the depth of Ashley’s credentials and gives every audience a clear next step.

  • One-click audience paths. Parents, teachers and districts each have a dedicated page in the main menu.
  • Always-on booking. Free 15-minute consultation and online booking buttons appear on every service and in the header.
  • Credibility on display. CV, SBE Capability Statement, testimonials and the founder’s story are each a click away, supporting district procurement and referral partners.
  • A platform to grow. The News section and Mailchimp signup give the practice owned channels for ongoing outreach.

Client Testimonial:

“Aaron Ganz and his team collaborated closely and worked tirelessly for many months to produce a website that perfectly met my business’ needs. They were patient with an overwhelmed new business owner and helped move things along with gentle nudges and support.

They were also open to feedback and made countless tweaks until everything was just right. I can’t say enough about how polished the site looks, how well it functions and all of the positive feedback I have received both clients and colleagues.

If you’re looking for a web developer to make this daunting and arduous process manageable and painless, I highly recommend GANZ Media!” — Ashley Schwenn, LEP, ABSNP, Founder, Education Innovators Consulting
