The Challenge

Barbara approached GANZ Media, a South Bay–based web design and digital marketing firm, with a clear need:

her existing website no longer reflected the depth, warmth, or professionalism of her practice.

Here is what her previous site looked like:

She wanted a site that felt:

• Modern and holistic
• Warm, calming, and human
• Clear in its messaging
• Optimized for search visibility
• Positioned to establish her as a thought leader

Although Barbara had not previously researched her competitors, she recognized that her online presence needed to evolve to match the quality of her clinical work.

Our Approach

1. Competitor Research & SEO Strategy

GANZ Media conducted a comprehensive review of:

• Local and regional therapist websites
• SEO keywords and phrases used by top-ranking competitors
• Search intent patterns for therapy-related queries
• Niche-specific terms for perinatal mental health, trauma therapy, and somatic work

This research not only informed the site structure and content strategy—it also helped Barbara refine how she wanted to present her practice online. She found this process eye-opening and empowering, giving her new clarity about her unique strengths and therapeutic identity.

2. A Modern, Holistic Website Design

The new website was designed to mirror Barbara’s therapeutic style:

• Bright, calming, and full of light—just like her physical office
• Warm, approachable language that reflects her real-world presence
• Clean, modern layout that feels grounded and professional
• Holistic visual elements to evoke safety, growth, and emotional clarity

The design intentionally avoids anything clinical, cold, or overly formal. Instead, it communicates the message Barbara embodies:
therapy can be a place of light, humor, and genuine transformation.

3. Expanded Content & Clear Service Areas

GANZ Media developed detailed, SEO-optimized content for:

• About Barbara
• Therapeutic approach & modalities
• Areas of focus
• Perinatal mental health specialization
• Somatic Experiencing
• FAQ
• Resources

Each section was crafted to be both informative and emotionally resonant, helping potential clients feel understood before they ever reach out.

4. Blog Development for Thought Leadership

To support long-term SEO and establish Barbara as a trusted voice in her field, GANZ Media created a blog framework with:

• Topic recommendations based on competitor gaps
• SEO driven titles and keyword clusters
• A content strategy aligned with her specialties

This positions Barbara not just as a therapist, but as an educator and thought leader in mental health—especially in the perinatal and trauma healing space.

The Result

Barbara was thrilled with the final website. She described the process as clarifying, energizing, and deeply aligned with the direction of her practice.

Check out her testimonial from Google:

“I used Ganz Media to create a new website for my business. I was very happy with the result. Aaron and his team were very helpful and knowledgeable. I also appreciated that I had a lot of input in the process and they were able to execute my vision wonderfully. Highly recommend!”

The new site:

• Reflects her authentic therapeutic style
• Clearly communicates her expertise and credentials
• Improves her visibility in search results
• Provides a welcoming, trustworthy experience for potential clients
• Establishes a foundation for ongoing content growth

Her enthusiasm for the final product speaks to the collaborative success of the project.

Conclusion

This project exemplifies GANZ Media’s ability to translate a practitioner’s personality, values, and clinical expertise into a digital presence that feels both modern and deeply human.

By combining thoughtful design, strategic SEO, and a strong content framework, GANZ Media helped Barbara step confidently into the next chapter of her practice—one where her online presence finally matches the quality of her work.

Meet Aaron Ganz

CEO at GANZ Media

Q: WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO LOCATE YOUR MEDIA BUSINESS IN THE SOUTH BAY?

A: After spending several decades enduring the scorching heat of the San Fernando Valley, I had the pleasure of meeting my now wife who was working in the South Bay. So you could say that having a beach in my backyard, weather 30 degrees cooler, and a beautiful woman, all had a hand in my decision to work here.

Q: WHAT’S THE MOST CHALLENGING ASPECT OF RUNNING YOUR COMPANY AFTER COVID?

A: During the first few months of COVID, most of my business had dried up. At the four months in, businesses realized they had to adapt to the changing world, and with the increased need for Digital Marketing, the opportunities exploded for my business, and have not stopped since.

Q: WHAT WAS YOUR TRAINING FOR BEGINNING A MEDIA COMPANY?

A: While in college, based purely on a love of computers and technology, I was hired in a marketing position for a software company. I was privileged to have an entrepreneurial boss who took a chance on me and encouraged me to grow, learn, and teach myself the skills I needed for the position. Years later, I took a position at Ticketmaster doing email marketing. At that time, they were sending out 1.4 billion emails per year. Working for a Fortune 500 company with a solid team helped expand and refine my skills while securing a professional, comprehensive understanding of the digital marketing space. Based on that foundation, GANZ Media was born.

Q: WHERE WERE YOU BORN?

A: I was born in Hollywood, California, and came out three and a half months early, as I had things I wanted to do.

Q: WHAT IS YOUR ASTROLOGY SIGN?

A: My sign is a Pisces, which is said to have aspects of all the other 11 players in the Zodiac. So we get along with everyone.

Q: WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME?

A: My favorite movie is the Shawshank Redemption. I was inspired by the main character Andy Dufresne (played by Tim Robbins), his persistence in overcoming impossible odds, and learning to get by with the help of a friend.

Q: HOW CAN PEOPLE GET MORE INFORMATION ON YOUR COMPANY?
